NEW!! Review of plans to identify wildlife linkages in Oregon

Coordinator: Audrey Hatch Thursday, April 12, 2007 3:30-5:30pm Happy Canyon Room Cost: Free!!!

What: Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is hosting a two hour work session to provide an opportunity to review and discuss our proposed approach to identifying wildlife linkages in Oregon. To identify key movement areas for wildlife on the landscape, ODFW is organizing several regional workshops beginning in June 2007 that will convene wildlife experts, land managers and planners. This two-hour work session will provide a preview of our approach; an opportunity for expert review of our approach; and, an opportunity for discussion of how the linkage workshop results will be applied to answer important questions for transportation and land use planning.

How: To ensure your participation in this work session, and to receive necessary background materials prior to the meeting, please RSVP by March 31, 2007 to Audrey Hatch; (541) 757-4263 ext 242; Audrey.C.Hatch@state.or.us. There is no cost to attend. Thanks!
